I have lived in Albuquerque for more than 10 years now, after relocating from Northwest Missouri. I started crafting as a young girl during summer vacations with my grandma. One of my fondest memories is of decorating the outside of an ice cream bucket with rolled-up magazine pages to make a trash basket that she kept long after I'd grown up.
My lifelong go-to crafts have been cross-stitch, crochet, and beading. I enjoy watching the counting, patterns, and colors transform threads and beads into beautiful pieces. My newest passions are bullet journaling and card making.
I've been teaching in one way or another throughout my life. I've taught English to high schoolers and international students, handbells to church youth and adults and crochet to expecting moms on bed rest.
I can't wait to share my passions with others through SW Craft Connection
