Using traditional Turkish motifs for inspiration, learn stranded knitting holding one yarn in each hand.  Design your own unique hat by choosing your own colors and motifs.  Celeste will show you through this traditional technique and show you how to fit motifs and designs onto your hat.

It's much easier than it looks !  I will bring samples and charted traditional motifs, pom-pom maker.

Each student will need to bring:

  1. 4-5 skeins of different solid color wool
  2. Size 2 or 3 Circular needles 16" (smaller if you knit loose. larger if you knit tight)

Stitch markers

This is a 2-day class.  March 13 & 20 , Fridays 10am - 1pm

$ 50.00 class fee

Homework: with any color, cast on 120 st, knit 2 rounds, then join (being careful not to twist, knit 5-6 more rounds)
