About the Event
Vera Neel is an established and talented artist in the is medium.
Wet Felting is a process that involves soap, water, wool, and the friction and pressure of your hands (or sometimes a textured surface like bubblewrap or a bamboo sushi mat) to create felt.
This workshop will be from 10 am -4 pm, with a lunch break. The Studio is surrounded by 4 restaurants, so there are lots of choices.
In this workshop, we will be making 2 felting hats and one beret. I will bring all fabric, materials, and equipment needed for completed class projects. You will use my patterns and will get information about different wool and how to use them. At the end of this workshop, not only will you have 3 completed hats but you will also have the knowledge and experience to make more at home.
Activation of creative energy, pleasant company, lots of positive emotions, and of course PRIDE with your very own "Kindergarten Moment" are all shared here.
