Come and make a connection to the ancient world! Make a book with wooden covers that dates back to 3rd century Africa.
This binding has multiple sections with an exposed spine sewing that is done with 2 needles and uses no glue. Sounds difficult but it's actually much easier than a Coptic stitch binding!
Join the class and we'll pretend we are monks working away in an ancient monastery. Scratchy robes and funky sandals optional!
This book would also make an original gift for the holidays, I will have additional kits for sale for you to easily make extras.
No previous experience required.
All materials and tools will be provided.
$50 per person
