About the Event

Mita Saldana is the owner of Against the Grain and a professional bookbinder and antique repairs.

I fell in love with this structure the first time I saw it.  It's lovely, and kind of on the shallow side, with 3 inner partitions and a removable lid with sides.  Partitioned boxes are great for organizing collections and can be utilized as shadow boxes.  This box would be large enough for most of your bookbinding tools, yet compact enough to carry with you.  In fact, it's what I use for my tools!

Most of the materials and tools provided

No experience is needed, beginners welcome.

If you have your own book binding tools bring them, including a cutting mat.  I will also have the student tool kit for use if you don't have your own tool kits yet, or you have forgotten or missing items. A detailed supply list will be emailed out previous to class.

Please bring PVA glue of your own.
